I'm trying to convert a F20 tiller to remote control/steering.
When I try to thread the plastic steering cap with the small o-ring to seal the "output" side of the mechanical steering rod, there isn't enough thread to allow it to catch. Is there any way to "shift" that tilt rod over to expose more threads to one side and less to the other? The flip side i guess is that there will be less threads on the input side...which is probably more important.
Any suggestions would be great.
