Yesterday in driveway. after unrelated maintenance (inline fuel filter swap), went to start and ignition did the single click three times in a row and started on 4th try after pausing for a few minutes.
I restarted no issues 10 more times.
I use my boat for family pleasure twice a month on average year round in FL and have never had an issue previously. My concern at this point is low but cautious/curious if doom is in my future.

That said, i read in forums issue is likely starter relay but I also read folks use words like solenoid relay and starter relay almost interchangeably.
I can't find any videos on the 115s to verify - does this model have both a starter solenoid and a starter relay?

Btw, motor is clean, connections look surprisingly new considering the year. Battery volts are fine- i haven't tested cranking volts yet.

most problems like that are bad connections .
battery terminals not making good contact to posts and then arc a little getting a better connection.
pull and clean the connections to see if keeps it from happening again

Basic multimeter reporting 12.77 but will have it load tested. Battery is about 10 months old.
Went ahead and cleaned cables thoroughly - hopefully the problem takes care of itself - time will tell.
Worse case - Should i get stuck offshore - can i really bridge the nuts in the solenoid with say a screwdriver to engage the starter without blowing my hand off from the current?
