f 150 missing every 35 sec.?

Hi I have a 2008 yamaha f 150 that hiccups or misses every 35 sec., regardless of rpms. The problem just started yesterday, the first day I drove it after a tropical storm blew through which the boat sat out in. Sideways rain but controls seem to be dry. Any ideas .

I have no idea what would cause a miss at a 35 second interval regardless of the RPM the motor runs.
If water related maybe it will dry out eventually.
May pull cowling and have a look for wetness

Thanks for the reply. I have left the hood off all day yesterday and will launch tomorrow. Very strange , seems like it has to be electrical, we'll see .

I took the boat out for several hours today and the same hiccup or miss occurred every 35 sec. Any ideas?
