This is a 47lb. minnkota. i have it on a 16' mirrocraft. Pushes things right along but would like to have up front due to a deck area and pedestal seat I have installed.<br /><br />thanks again..
If it's the composite shaft I doubt you could extend it because the splice would be a built-in weak point no matter how you did it. If its metal, weld in a section.
