Hi guys,
I have a 1991 ford explorer that I will be using to tow a 18 ft. boat that weighs 1500 lbs. I have seen a item called a t-connector on line that you plug into the tail light connectors on the vehicle and then plug it into the trailer connector. It sounds like a great time saver but I do not have a clue as to where you find the connectors on the explorer. I have crawled under the back but do not see any of the wiring to the tail lights. After raising the hatch I found that the tail lights are held in place with two phillips screws. Are the connectors accessable after removing the tail lights? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill
