Exploded view of t&t

Where do I get an exploded view of the tilt and trim unit for a 1996 evinrude 88hp spl ? Please don't tell me a factory omc service manual as I just bought an omc sevice manual.This piece of crap only shows how to ad fluid,what a joke,no wonder they went bankrupt.It's just too bad they didn't stay bankrupt.Thanks,Doug.

I was going to enlighten him as well, but it sounded like he's got a bad attitude and an OMC basher to boot - not worth the trouble IMHO.

Hey, dougm,<br /><br />I think you should sell that darned Evinrude and pick up a nice, used Chrysler outboard. They're just super. You won't have to worry about finding parts diagrams for it, either.

We all have said things that can be taken many ways when we are mad and frustrated by small mechanical devices....He has bashed OMC only once that I can find....so might be worth giving him a chance to see there are many passionate, knowledgeable people here that are willing to help him through his troubles and allow him to love his troublesome Rude....

The actual service manual for the trim and tilt is in the accessory service manual. It has the complete breakdown of all the different trim units and troubleshooting procedures.
