Is it normal to have no exhaust bubbles comming through the prop at idle?

Re: Exhaust question.

Hope so. No bubbles means no exhaust which means the motor isn't running. Or there's a lot of exhaust going somewhere.......

No, The motor IS running. But the exhaust only comes out of the little port at the cover and not thru the prop, Is that normal?

Re: Exhaust question.

Sorry, misread your post. At idle the exhaust will come out the ports in the back and those holes at the rear of the lower unit just above the AV plate. There will be some exhaust coming out the prop, if there are no air bubbles it just means they're escaping thru the other outlets.

Does the motor run OK?

Re: Exhaust question.

No, the motor is not running fine. I have another post (Help, I can't get it going) describing the problem. Thanks in advance for any help.
