Exhaust Ports on 2.3l cobra outdrive

Is there an exhaust port behind the anode in addition to the prop on the 2.3l cobra (88 bayliner)? Started on muffs to winterize and noticed exhaust blowing back at the transom.

it's actually in the transom shield not where you have your arrow and it is normal. only really goes through prop when the rpms (and pressure) are high

If you have water coming out there, the bellows is probably shot. Hope you don't run it that high. Shut it off, and raise the drive and have a look at what could be leaking from the area.

Great and thanks for the reply. I looked all through the shop manual for it and it did not address the actual exhaust path.

No water there, only exhaust. Nope, never run it that high, no more than about 1/4 trimmed up for shallow water.
