Exhaust Manifolds OMC 4.3L

I am exhausted searching for both exhaust manifolds for my OMC Cobra 4.3L. Have done the soddering job once - don't want to push that - really feel it's time to replace. Anybody know where these can be located? Preferably used.<br />Thanks!

John if you don't know were the manifolds come from you would probably save yourself a lot of greif by just buying new ones. They are available through Barr Marine.com I belive--Bob

ClearLakeJohn,<br />(yeah,you did pick an exhausting subject,grin)<br />Last I knew,DougRussellMarine had them,but the price was very high,I heard this word of mouth.<br /><br />I was at a dealer meeting last November in Conn.and talked with an Osco rep.He had a way of doing this,with new parts,and it did involve some cutting.He also said Osco was working with a solution,and it may be out by now.Try KelloggMarine.Com.It was their dealer meeting I attended.They did it up very well,as they do every year.<br />Good Luck<br /><br />DHP

www.dougrussell.com had some when I checked a couple of months ago, but they are really pricey!<br />I heard that GLM is coming out with their aftermarket version of the one piece OMC manifold, but I can't tell what the quality is.<br />I replaced my OE ones last year, and I have a spare set for the future (salt water area).

If you dont find them let me know and Ill give you a local marine parts shop that can get them. I have a set off my old 4.3 that are a yr. old if you are interested. i repowered with 4.3 MPI/EFI crate.<br />Mercrusier engine to my OMC stuff. So I have a pr.<br />of manifolds (1 piece) for a OMC 4.3.<br />Capt.Skid
