I just found water in all three cylinders on the odd numbered side of my 1984 3.8 v-6. What's the best way to test for leaks in the exhaust manifold? Is it likely that a blown head gasket could do the same thing? The manifold is three years old, and flushed with fresh water after every use. It may be possible that there is a frost crack in it somewhere, but I can't see one.
There doesn't appear to be any water in the other side of the engine. Is there any problem with replacing the manifold (if that's what it needs) and just starting the engine up?
Does anybody out there know where I can get a replacement OMC manifold for this engine. When I changed them three years ago I had to buy new because there were no after market ones available, and the cost was over $800 for the pair. I'd really like to avoid that again if possible.
Thanks
