Exhaust cover gasket

[63 Evinrude]

I have a 1963 18hp Evinrude. The exhaust cover gasket the parts book gives is 306164, this gasket will not fit the exhaust cover inner or outer. I did order this gasket and installed it with some modification and permatex, although this worked for a little while I now believe I have a clog because I’m not getting good water flow from the exhaust/water exit. Any help with the correct gasket part number or suggestions will be as always greatly appreciated.

Yes the 306164 is the correct part number for both the inner and outer gasket.<br /><br />Whats the model number of your motor?

Sorry that is the correct gasket. I must have ordered the wrong one. Thank you for your responce.
