Exhaust corrosion

What year did Yamaha supposedly fix the exhaust corrosion issue ?

If you look over at the Hull Truth there are reports of this on F150s as new as 2014. I’m not sure they actually solved it. Probably varies by model.

Prob wondering if Yamaha ever fixed the corrosion issue. You’ll find many threads on this on the hull truth boating forum.

actually I've pulled this motor off and tore it down Not the corrosion issue as I thought the mid section and base of the block show no signs of corrosion at all yet all 6 cylinders show signs of water intrusion, haven't seen any thing obvious yet still looking
