can i use a exhaust tube on a alpha 1 gen II.

what is the benefit of using bellows?
are the tubes louder?

you can use an exhaust tube-- you will get a little more noise and you can do the change yourself. Bellows can be a real pain to change

I second that, you can use the tube. I keep reading that the exhaust bellows can be a pain, but I changed mine without any difficulty so I don't know where this idea comes from.. New bellows are nice and flexible and I had no trouble fitting them.. Either a bellow or a tube will work for you. As mentioned the tube is a little bit noisier.
