exhaust bellow problem

Need help , developed a leak in the exhaust bellow , i was told i have to take off exhaust manifold to get bellow off properly .85 dollars worth of parts , any cheaper way to fix this .parts include gaskets , bellow and new clamps this is for a volvo penta aq125 b please help

Your only other choice is to pull the outdrive, and pull the engine.

Hello don this is steve again , you tried to help me about a month ago .pin point the leak in a diagram . i am going to tackle this job myself . i know you do this for a living . what about a novice . i have replaced impellers, I am becoming a do it yourselfer i have a seloc manual . any other input????

I fix boats, I don't predict if someone can do a job when I have no clue to their abilities. Owning a boat does not make you or anyone else a qualified skipper nor a mechnic. All it does is make you a boat owner.<br />People on this board can give suggestions on whats wrong, and how to go about fixing them. But only YOU know your abilities.
