Excess Gel Seal on crankcase halves

Just finished putting the two crankcase halves together on a 1994 200 hp V6 90 degree looper and as careful as I thought I was I must have used a little to much Gel Seal a little to close to the inside seam. When I was finished I could see a thin bead of Gel Seal when I looked inside the crankcase at the seam through the intake cavities. It looks like the Gel Seal probably did not get near the sealing rings. I only see it in the cavities by the piston rods. Should I try to clean this out? Do I need to disassemble the the crankcase halves? ( I hope not) or should I simple not worry about it since it is not by the sealing rings. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Re: Excess Gel Seal on crankcase halves

Do what cleaning is easy, but the sealer will be washed away by the fuel as Gel Seal never hardens except in the absence of air and under pressure.
