Anyone know if the Low Fuel Warning will trigger "Safe" mode engine (limited RPM)
My fuel gauge crapped out and now the engine won't pass 1200 RPM's. Feels like its starving for fuel.

Does anyone know if it is possible to disengage this audio alarm. Its a real pain. If I can't read the gauges to see a when there is a problem then I deserve the outcome. Besides the audio monitor, I love the engine.
:p

Suzuki 1988 200 HP

Re: Exante and Low Fuel Warning

this won't help much, but i wasn't aware of a low fuel warning...there is a low oil warning that can be problematic though.

i'm told (and i've seen frist hand) that the flow switch is very sensative, it will trip the audible alarm before the light bars change on the gage. should be able to take the flow switch apart, clean the screen and reassemble it and be fine.

This motor had a female voice that calls out the alarm through a speaker. When you are low on fuels, every five seconds she says "check fuel, low fuel level"

Can get quite annoying

Sounds to be like ou need to throw her overboard. Your engine is the first that I have heard of with a voice sounding alarm. Quite unusual.

If you haven't got one already, get a manual. These are the things that they can explain. Does she sound hot when she talks to you? ;)
