need help here, I recently purchase a motor i am trying to verify the year using serial number on the button plate on powerhead but nothing comes up this number starts with a G3220301 i have looked it up but don't get any answer ,, can anyone here help me please thanks

Serial # is not used.-----Model # required or pictures of your motor if original graphics.---What horsepower ?

thanks racerone so this motor is a 150hp oceanpro OSI 2000 this is all i see here and this number on the plate g3220301

What's the rest of the powerhead cover look like? That M on the plate right there looks like Mercury but don't know if they made an oceanpro?

???----Looks like Mercury to you but that was the OMC logo / identification for say 50 years !!
