Evinrude Year?

I hate to sound like a broken record on the forum, but could some refernce an exact year for me? Evinrude Yachtwin 2cyl. 2 stroke 4hp. Serial #: 4236 S E0003599 I believe it to be early 70's. (my guess is '73)

1972 plug should be J4C gapped at .030 it has breaker point ignition,

Actually the 1972 4HP started life with a J6J which is superceded by the J6C in the current listings.http://www.boatsetup.com/SparkPlugChart.pdf

I'm running J6C's. Is it okay to use NGK's? B6S? I've had real good luck w/ NGK's with 2 strokes in my ATV's
