Evinrude warninig buzzer?

I recently purchased a seaswirl Tahoe and it has 1987 110 HP Evinrude OB motor. The VRO pump doesn't work that's why I use pre-mix, but I intent to replace the VRO pump. My question is how to test the buzzer in the remote control after replacing the VRO? also is there a warnining buzzer in case if the engine overheats? thanks for any input

You would have much more response if you would post on the "Engines" board. Sorry I cannot help your problem with a techncal solution, but we'll get you an answer on the other board.....
