Does anyone have an objection to my idea to place a Y-fitting in the oil/fuel lines instead of the plug that everyone seams to suggest? I had a slight concern over the idea of dead-heading the oil pump even though I am sure that the pump itself could supply proper pressure to bowl since it is so small of a fraction of the liquid pumped. I was thinking that the diaphram in the oil portion of the pump would cause less stress if it was allowed to move sometihg through the lines.

I was hoping someone out there had already tried this or had some experience with these pumps and knew if there was a problem putting fuel/gas mix through the oil segment of twinned pump
