Try a can of OMC Engine Tuner (about $8.50) from your dealer. Had a similar problem with my twin 1996 150 Ocean Runners. There is a fitting behind the airbox that looks like a tire valve stem. If your motor doesn't have the fitting, the stuff is also available in a can with a spray tip for shooting directly into the carbs. Use the stuff per the can instructions. It works.<br /> My motors will start "bumping" about every 60 hours. Book says to use it every 50 hours.
