Evinrude Tach Question

I have an old omc accesories tach with a part #121614 on the back. Does anyone know anything about how many cylindersit is for or info about them. Cannot find any info online.

Does it have a dial on the back with numbers like 3P, 4P, 5, 6P? You are suppose to set this dial to 1/2 the number of alternator posts that your motor has.

It does not have a selector dial. It does have a 68k resistor inside. I know the number of pulses it reads varies on the resistor.

I you know what's inside, you know more about it than most of us do. But I'll see if I can find the part number.

EDIT: Sorry, every tach I've found starts with 17****
