evinrude starflite IV 75hp

i have a evinrude starflite IV 75 hp motor. i have a problem getting forward to engage. i have reverse and neutral,no forward. im getting power from the switch all the way down the shaft.im not sure where to go from here, and not sure where to get parts for such an old motor.

what year? there are links with the electric shifts. do a search.
