I have an Evinrude Sportwin Ten model #10016. The prop has the numbers 8 1/2 X 8. Directly across from these numbers are 383315. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct prop for this motor? It looks small to me. Thanks!

Re: Evinrude Sportwin Ten prop

Standard prop in 58 was 8 1/4 X 8 1/2. ( diameter X pitch).
383315 is the part number. 8 1/2 X 8 function would be close to that of the 8 1/4 X 8 1/2
Of course there are other sizes depending on the application.
Are you having performance problems?

Re: Evinrude Sportwin Ten prop

No problems per se....It has just seen better days and if I replace it I want to do so with the proper prop....no pun intended. Would I notice any kind of a difference if I were to go back to the stock size?
Thanks.

Re: Evinrude Sportwin Ten prop

Your present and the original listed I feel would be hard to tell the difference.
You may be able to have your prop repaired. The best way to select a prop is to get a tach (tiny tach is reasonable and easy to install)and gps and do a test run get us the prop size, max rpm and speed.when new your motor could
do about 20 on a light reasonably fast boat.
