Evinrude Ocean Pro 175 (1995) no acceleration

The throttle cam on engine cracked. Engine does not accelerate as a result. Does engine need to be adjusted if this is replaced and is this an easy piece to repair on your own. I have engine maual. Any help appreciated.

After you replace the cam, check the link & sync. It may not need readjusting but I'd sure check it anyway. Your manual oughta have the procedure in it. It may read like it's complicated but it's not.<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty
