Evinrude model 206B2D not mentioned anywhere.

I have an Evinrude 20 hp with the model number 206B2D that is not recognized in any liturature at BRP or anywhere else. Please help, Ineed to order engine parts.

Can you help at all with a year of manufacture. That model number isn't appearing yet, Can you confirm that it is 206B2D?

I beieve it may be a 1976 model.

Sorry but I cannot find that model number anywhere and especially for an Evinrude:

The only 20 hp Evinrudes I come up with are:

Year Model
1929 U(#1U001-15U000)
1929-32 143
1930 176

and if you go here:

They don't even list a 20hp as most of the other sites.

206B62 is a 1976. Are you sure you didn't miss the "6"?

I have seen that one at maxrules but could not find any other supporting evidence or parts listings. Was this an engine made by someone else?
Even the Evinrude site does not list a 20hp for 1976.

I notice you are in Canada. The BRP site does not list the "foreign" models. I don't know where yours was made, Belgium?? Canada?? But it was probably made for non-USA markets.

Many thanks for responding. That's the same information that I saw at maxrules, just can't seem to locate any other information about them. I'll keep snooping.
