evinrude manual?

i have 1972 100hp starflite evinrude ,i rang someone advertising a workshop manual for a 1972 100hp johnson, where the motors one in the same back then? or is this manual not for me?<br /> thanks.

Howdy, Cowfarmer.<br /><br />The Johnson and Evinrude were the same engine with only trivial differences in options, etc.<br /><br />The Johnson manual should seerve you well.<br /><br />Good luck.
