is there a difference between a black plug to a red plug ? the plugs connect perfect but the overheat buzzer don't stop, and where is the rev limiter located

Yes there is a difference !!-----Stop experimenting.-----What motor and what controls.-----Red plug on the motor requires red plug on control harness.------Black goes to black.-----Yellow plug on a motor needs yellow plug on control.

thanks recerone, and i have stopped ,, the problem is I can't find the year or model on this motor, and the only number I have is not trazable, i've looked everywhere with this number G3220301 but found nothing jet, when looking for parts i can only guess

That is the serial number. It has been reported that BRP can tell you the year from that.

yes, someone told me there is is rev limiter on this motor,I posted a video the other day here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGZNQ1-Foe4 I'll appreciate any help , ( i think that's the serial number but when i try to order parts that number can't be found

The model # is required for identification !-----The serial # is not used to order parts.-----Rev limiter is a circuit in the powerpack.
