Evinrude ignition system question

I was comparing the ignition system on my 79 Evinrude 150 V6 to the service manual. The manual talks about the terminal board for each power pack. I assume they are saying each power pack has its own terminal board. However, mine has only one terminal board on the port side. Does this make any difference to engine performance? This last weekend a friend and I pulled the plugs on the starboard side one by one but didn't really notice any difference in the way the engine ran. Engine did seem to run rougher when we pulled a plug on the port side.

You might be able to pull off a cover on the power packs and find the terminal boards where the wires to the powerpack actually connect to the power pack.

The manual speaks of the screw termials on the pack, if the pack has plug in connectors, they may have been changed.
