evinrude fuel economy

hi guys have a 14ft alloy boat with a old 71 50hp evinrude just wondering what WOT and half throttle fuel usage would be? i can cruise on a plane at half throttle with 3 adults and fishing gear

A 50 hp motor on a 14 ft. boat shouldn't use much fuel at all. At half throttle,you might use a gallon or so per hour. At full throttle, I don't think fuel usage will be your main concern!

@ WOT, you'll burn ~ 5 gph, @ half throttle, ~ 2 to 2.5 gph
