evinrude fastwin 18 gears and manufacture date

I have acquired an Evinrude Fastwin 18 that I am setting up on a 14ft aluminum boat. It has serial #18602C-E06112. Can anyone tell me when this was manufactured? Also,it was originally set up as steering wheel steer, but I am setting it up as tiller steer. I need to know if anyone could hook me up with the gears and shaft that run from the tiller arm to the throttle gear. Finally, does anyone know if there is a copy of the servive manual available anywhere on the internet?<br />THANK YOU

Your motor is a 1966 18hp. Manuals are for sale at the bottom of the page. If you want a free manual try the public library. You will have to scrounge around for those parts used, shouldn't be too hard to come by.
