Evinrude Fastwin 15036M-06040

I just acquired an Evinrude Fastwin 15036M-06040. I was told it is a 17 horse. It is on an old ski boat and supposedly runs. Can anyone tell me what I have and where to start before I mess it up?

It is a 1962 18 hp

the parts catalog of the Johnson equivalent is HERE

It'll run on a 24:1 fuel mix and its currently recommended plugs are J4C gapped at 0.030"
