certain it is a 1979... mdl # does not show up easy

if really stuck you can probably just make one out of piano wire . I made one up for the choke on my 9.5 HP ... spring design is vey simple to reproduce and for the price you can order a whole box of spring.. piano wire ...just measure the wire dia and order from AMAZON
