Looking at buying a Whaler with an 01 Evinrude 225. The owner has the Engine Identification report with cylinder coeff A, B C, D, with serial numbers for each cylinder.
Is there a source to determine what the readings mean? On "A", it ranges from 21 to 28?
RPM time is 42 % under 1000 with max RPMs of 5848. Engine has 407 hrs on it, so it does not sound too worn, but I really don't know what to expect?
Any help is appreciated.
