Hi, Steff. I have just acquired a Johnson Service Manual that covers the Johnson 30 from that period. I think it was the same engine. What do you need to know?<br /><br />Standing by.<br />JB

J B and Bear,<br />Thanks for the quick reply! I found at Kencook.com that yes indeed the Big Twin is 30 hp and a 1956. I would appreciate timing specs and hi and lo speed cabuerator needle jet settings. <br />The motor runs good and starts easily but it will not give full throttle. She just craps out.
