Evinrude 88- High Idle Issue

I recently acquired an Evinrude 88. The motor starts easily and runs but idles at around 2000 rpm on muffs. Is there an easy way to back down the idle? In the photo attached the adjustment screw with the green arrow does not always come back to rest on the mount when put into neutral it is about half an inch off. Does this need adjustment?

The roller shown with the red arrow also seems to be "loose" inside the throttle lever. Does this need to be/Can this be tightened up?

Need to adjust cable trunnion for the idle stop.-----Roller may be missing the outer sleeve.----A common issue.
