I have several old Evinrude Electric Shift engines. I have two 85hps, and one 70 hp. They all work fine except the shift solenoids/coils seem to be shorted out. As a result you can't shift into neutral, or reverse. Does anyone know where I can get replacement solenoids? Does anyone know whether you can get them rewound? Does anyone have any solenoid/coils for sale? If you have an old gearbox laying around, many people do, they are real easy to take out. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
