I Have a 1974 Evinrude 70473 The engine has good compression, New coils, New diaphram, All new fuel line and links, New plugs (Gaps set to manufactured spec), New fuel, New tank,bulb, Squeeky clean carbs (Inside) So I Guess what im looking for is a maunal to set the Linkage for the shifter/Timing advance/ and carb sync (Via mulitple bores ) Back to manufacturor specs I Have a Good feeling that it my problem is cause by this
The Problem :
The engine starts and idles fairly good sounds alright.. And I Try to Idle up to higher rpm it starts to stutter and miss and by the time it gets to about half throttle its giving it all it has.. My guess is that the carbs are not working together properly SO
If anyone could send me a link or help me with some step by step on how I Set all my linkages back to normal Spec I Would be most appricative..
