Evinrude 7.5 losses power

I have a 1981 Evinrude 7.5 hp outboard that always bogs down after a couple of hours running. The carb is rebuilt and the plugs are good. If it is left to sit for a couple of days it will return to normal. No signs of anything siezing up with heat etc. <br />Any ideas ??

Hi steveston-guy.<br /> You said, after a couple hrs running.<br /> what kind of running, troling slow or running wide open? Dose it troll ok then bog down when you take off? When it bogs dose it die or just not reach full power? Could you give us a model #? Have you tested compresion? What do the spark plugs look like?
