Evinrude 6hp...Year? oil/fuel mixture?

I just picked up a 6hp Evinrude 2 stoke outboard and I have no idea of the year or what the oil/fuel mixture should be. I was thinking to use 50:1 but it is an old engine and I don't want to damage it by running the wrong mix. the model# is 6302S and the serial# is J 010777. Any help would be greatly appreciated. it is going on my little 10'jonboat so that i can get to the fishing holes a little faster!!!! thank you in advance. email is perkinsandcorinne@hotmail.com

That's a 1973 engine. 50:1 is the mixture for that vintage.<br /><br /> Italian Picture <br /> Italian Specifications
