What oil are you referring to? The only oil level in your motor is in the gearcase (lower unit) and it should be filled from the bottom until it comes out the top vent screw hole. Use 90-wt. Outboard Lower Unit Oil.

You mix 2-cycle outboard oil with your gasoline for motor lubrication, at a 50:1 ratio. (1 pint to 6 Gallons (U.S.)).
- Scott

thankyou Chinewalker!!!I meant engine oil, i have changed gear oil - OMC for electroshift, but since I've seen oily heads I tought it is commin' from somewhere , so it should be somehow replaced.I regret that I know so little about 2 stroke engines,so any help is highly appreciated. Thanks again.

'mornin' kokolo,

the oil residue that you are seeing is likely from the 2-stroke mix.
your fuel should be mixed at 50:1 gas:eek:il. Six gallons of 89 octane regular gas with 1 pint of Two-stroke-Water Craft (TWC 3)oil.
