evinrude 24 volt motor. what thrust?

hi guys. trying to find out what thrust an old trolling motor is. its an evinrude model # bfl4tpp....all i can find out about it is that its 24v. and a 98 model...anyone know or have any ideas to how i can find out?....thanks:confused:

My Service manual lists the BFL4TP as 56 Pounds Thrust, 29 Amps Maximum Current, 42 inch shaft. Hope this helps, if you need any further info PM me.

Do ya' think 56lbs. thrust will be enough on an Allison XB2002 (20'2") bass boat? It came with this boat and is like new. The guy I got the boat from bought the boat and immediately took the trolling motor off as well as the depth finder. He used it as a play boat only and couldnt tell me how well the motor worked. Thanks!

I have a 56#'er on my 21' Gambler and it does fairly well.
It's an older model also.
