recently rebuilt engine. 3rd outing overheated on starboard cylinders. Mechanic replaced head gasket and impeller. Claimed it was fixed.Still have the problem within minutes of startup.No longer have the so called Mechanic.But would like ot use the boat.any way to back flush block to check for blockage? please help,boat is getting lonely. :confused:

Check thermostat for operation and blockage. Did mechanic check or replace water deflectors in block, when head was off?

thank you for the reply.that was a concern.we popped the head covers and there was something bouncing in the top cyl. Piston cyl.walls are trashed. major rebuild again to some degree. major concern to ex mech. who will be contacted by all legal means.thanks again
