Evinrude 1979 70hp Powerhead is it compatible with 1983 Evinrude 70hp?

Hi All,

I'm selling my 79 70HP motor and one guy is interested but wants to swap the powerhead with his 1983 evinrude 70hp. Do you guys know if the powerheads are interchangable for these years?

All of the major components from 1979 and 1983 are interchangeable.
