I have a 1977 20hp evinrude I know nothing about these things so bare with me. So I had no spark at all so I got a used powerpack and then checked the spark again and the bottem one sparked but not the top. So I wanted to see if it was the coils or whatever so I put the bottem coil/spark that worked and I put it on the top and the top one on the bottom. In other words I just switched them and the one on the bottem that sparked originally when I put it on the top it sparked there as well. And the other coil/spark never sparked either time. So I thought that I needed a new coil witch I bought today from evenrude hooked it up and same thing no spark on new coil. So now I'm just ready to put some gas and a match to it. If any one has an idea that would be great. Sorry again for being so dumb about this stuff I'm a first timer. Lol thanks
