Evinrude 1972 Lower Unit Exchange

A question many will know, but I have no idea how to look up the reference... My 1972 25252R 25 hp lower unit is completely bad. I found a listing for a 1976 lower unit and was wondering if it would fit my motor. Any help would be appreciated.

comparing gearcases at marineengine.com the '72 and '76 are the same

Looks like I got outbid on the lower u it I was looking at. Anyone know where a used one can be found, please pass it on.
