I have a 1997 Evinrude 150 V6 and it has been running great but recently I noticed at high speeds the motor surges like its running out of fuel. I have changed the plugs and changed the fuel filter. Today I took it out on the lake and it started right up up on take off it was very slugish and stalled a couple of times. I started it for the third time and reved the engine in neutral and then the engine was fine until I shut it off for a while I had to repeat the process. Could it be a fuel line problem or a carb problem. Any ideas would be great.
