well I finally bought an engine a 1991 120 hp rude with powertrim. I did a compression test and the readings where: 125 and 125 psi on the right side cylinders and 115 and 115 on the left side. the oil in the lower unit looked good and so did the overall engine. And after half a year in the shop it started right up on 2stroke and the vro alarm was whining. good no?<br /><br />But what next? I'm going to change the oil in the lower unit, new spark plugs, and I'm going to replace the impellor. Is there more I should do?<br /><br />And is there anything I should know on placing the motor on the boat?<br /><br />Can't wait to get started. Thanks.
