evinrude 115 v-4 crossflow fires and dies

motor cranks and fires and dies, rebuilt carbs and fuel pump and carbs are getting fuel. 115 compression in 3 cylinders and 80 in no.4 motor has been sitting for about 5 years. good spark in all 4 cyl.

I will try this again....just fixed a guy's exact same problem....

Pull a carb, remove the bowl, and note the brass tube sticking down from the upper carb body.
Blow and suck on this tube to verify that it is open. If not, run small wire, welding tip cleaners, and carb cleaner to get those tubes clean.

Those tubes are the sole supply of gas to the idle circuits.
Fixed the other guy right up....all four of his were clogged after sitting 4 yrs.

It is normal for compression to vary up to 10% between cylinders. 115 is normal. Your variance with only 80 lbs. is suspect. Something is not right. Before you put much more effort into repairing, I'd pull the head on the low compression side. You may have internal issues going on. Check for a blown head gasket. If the head gasket seal ring is intact, check for a missing top ring on the piston, or scuff marks on the side of the cyl walls.
