New to boating this intrepid fisherman backs down ramp perfectly, dislodges boat from trailer like a pro, mate parks vehicle well, skipper turns key, motor spins well without fireing at all. Skipper trys everything, everybodys watching - comments like "Got a good battery" are filtering through to skipper. Brainwave strikes, starts up auxilliary and motors respectfull distance from wharf and anchor. Everybody thinks were going to fish here. Through check reveals nothing, skipper decides power pack has packed it in. Ready to go home. Bright spark brother sitting over the tanks suggests connecting the fuel line. Dh!!!!!<br />OK so I was the skipper, we did go ahead with the days fishing, surprisingly enough returning just after dusk to the wharf and have'nt been back to that one since.......<br />Ross
